Proof of Spend: A challenge for South African Bitcoiners

We call Bitcoin the hardest form of money, but many of us are just holding it like gold, never using it in the real world.

I don't know about you, but I firmly believe that if we want Bitcoin to succeed as money, more of us need to start spending it. Not occasionally. Not when we feel like it, but consistently over time.

That's why I'm laying down a challenge. 

I'm looking for 100 committed South Africans (the Founding 100) who are ready to lead the way and put their money where their mouth is. 

I'm calling it Proof of Spend: a movement of builders committed to using Bitcoin as the tjommie-to-tjommie digital cash it was meant to be.

This movement is for those who want to play their part in creating a world where Bitcoin is widely used as money. One where paying in Bitcoin is the rule rather than the exception.
