Shipping and returns

How it works

We have partnered with small businesses in and around Cape Town that accept Bitcoin as payment and curated a selection of their products for you to purchase online using Bitcoin only (no rands accepted here).

You simply, choose your items, enter your order details and complete payment with Bitcoin. Every purchase you make supports local merchants who receive Bitcoin directly in their businesses.

Our partner merchants will then pack your order and ship it directly to your door. If your order includes products from multiple merchants, items may arrive separately.

Shipping

We currently deliver within Cape Town and the Cape Winelands only. This includes: Franschhoek, Stellenbosch, Paarl, Somerset West, Strand, Gordons Bay, Wellington and Malmesburry.

If you’re unsure whether your address falls within our delivery area, please email hello@bitcoinfriendlysa.co.za before placing your order.

A few more details:

- Shipping is a flat R135 per order.

- Minimum order value is R300.

- Free shipping is not currently available.

Delivery time

Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours (next business day for late orders).

Delivery is usually completed within 1-3 business days from dispatch. You will receive tracking information once your order has been shipped.

Returns & refunds

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours at hello@bitcoinfriendlysa.co.za.

We'll work with the relevant merchant to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Due to the nature of food products, opened items cannot be returned unless faulty.
