Shipping and returns

How it works

We partner with small businesses in and around Cape Town that accept Bitcoin and curate a selection of their products for you to purchase online using Bitcoin only (no rands accepted here).

Simply choose your items, enter your details, and complete payment with Bitcoin Lightning. Every purchase supports local merchants who receive Bitcoin directly in their businesses.

All orders are packed and shipped by us and you shoul receive your order within 1-4 business days depending on where you are located. If you're in a more remote area, it may take longer. You will receive tracking details once your parcel is on its way.

Shipping

We deliver nationwide. Shipping is currently R120 per order, automatically applied at checkout.

Delivery time

Delivery typically takes 1-4 business days depending on where you are located in the country. Her are typical ETAs:

• Cape Town (metro): 1-3 business days.
• Winelands (e.g., Paarl, Franschhoek, Stellenbosch): 2-4 business days.
• JHB: 2-4 business days

Orders placed on Friday afternoons, weekends, or public holidays are processed the next business day.

Tracking details are sent once your parcel is collected by the courier.

Returns & refunds

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours at hello@bitcoinfriendlysa.co.za.

Due to the nature of food products, opened items cannot be returned unless faulty.

We'll resolve any issue as quickly as possible.
